Free AI FAQ generator
FAQs written from your own website
Paste your website address. We read your pages and draft the questions customers ask, answered only from what your site says, with FAQ schema ready to paste. Anything your site doesn't answer is flagged, not made up.
Free, no sign-up. We read up to 8 pages of your site and write only what it says.
How it works
- 1
We read your site
Your home page and the pages that explain the most: pricing, features, FAQs, help and about pages. Up to eight of them.
- 2
AI drafts the FAQs
Questions a customer or prospect would ask, in their words, each answered in one to three sentences from your pages, with the page it came from.
- 3
You copy them out
As Markdown for a docs site or CMS, as HTML for any web page, and as FAQPage structured data for search engines.
Answers from your site, not from thin air
An FAQ that gets a price or a refund policy wrong is worse than no FAQ. So this one only writes what your pages say.
Every answer has a source
Each answer links the page it was written from, so checking it takes a click.
Gaps are flagged, not filled
Questions customers usually ask that your site doesn't answer, such as refunds or data export, are listed for you to answer instead of guessed.
Your prices and plan names, exactly
Numbers, plans and limits are copied as your site states them, never estimated.
FAQ schema included
A ready FAQPage JSON-LD snippet that matches the questions word for word, which is what search engines expect.
Plain, specific answers
Questions in your customers' words, answered in one to three sentences as your business would answer them, with no filler.
Free, without an account
Three sites a day. Results for a site are kept for a few days, so coming back to copy them again is instant.
An FAQ page answers a few questions. A help centre answers the rest.
The same idea, all the way: AskBase drafts a whole help centre from your website and documents, then an AI assistant answers customers from it.
- Up to 30 pages of your site read, plus PDFs and Word documents you add
- Every draft waits for your review, with anything to check marked
- An AI chat on your website that answers only from your articles
- The questions it couldn't answer, grouped and ranked, so you know what to write next
- Your help centre on your own domain, with every old link kept if you move from another tool
- Free plan, no credit card
Questions people ask
- How does the AI FAQ generator work?
- It reads up to eight pages of your website, starting with the ones that explain the most, such as pricing, features and existing FAQs. An AI model then writes 8 to 12 questions customers would ask and answers each from those pages only.
- What if my website doesn't answer a question?
- It's left out of the FAQs and listed separately under To check, so you can write the answer yourself. The generator never invents prices, policies or limits.
- What is FAQ schema?
- FAQPage structured data: a JSON-LD snippet in a page's HTML that tells search engines which questions and answers the page contains. The generator writes it for you, matching the FAQs word for word.
- Where do I put the FAQ schema?
- Paste the script tag anywhere in the HTML of the page that shows the questions, usually in the head or just before the closing body tag. The questions and answers must also be visible on that page.
- Is the FAQ generator free?
- Yes. You can draft FAQs for three sites a day without an account. To draft a whole help centre from your website, sign up for a free AskBase account.
- Why did it find too little text on my site?
- Some sites load their content with JavaScript after the page opens, so a reader that doesn't run scripts sees an almost empty page. If that's your site, sign up and draft your help centre from your documents instead: PDFs, Word files and Markdown work.
